Since 1996, AGRN has been restoring the mangroves of Beira and promoting the sustainable use of natural resources, together with the communities that depend on them.

Artisanal fishing, agriculture and waste management, applying the 3R policy.
Savings and revolving credit
Conservation driven by savings and revolving credit groups.
Alternative livelihoods
Beekeeping, hibiscus tea production and business management based on microcredit.

Training in natural resource enforcement, with community rangers, and in advocacy to resolve local conflicts.
Community nurseries
Production of mangrove, exotic, fruit and timber species.
